Title: CPR-W: Cool People Read & Write
Program Description: Students are now required by state standards to do more evidence-based writing in the content areas of science and social studies. This session will stress the importance not only of reading, but also the ability of a student to write coherently about what they have read. In this session, the participants will learn and practice specific, hands-on strategies (RACE, ACE, RADDS, CLOSE) to help students meet the writing standards.
