Title: Digital Storytelling Tools in the Classroom-Secondary Level
Program Description: Storytelling has always been an intricate part of our history, but the methods in which we communicate have changed as civilizations have evolved. Today’s middle and high school level students are connected like no other generation before. Technology provides us with unique opportunities for students to take linear facts and objects and produce multimedia products that can demonstrate student mastery of a skill or concept in today’s classroom. Join us, as we explore today’s emerging and existing tools that can help our students create these Project-based Learning products.
Presenter: Dr. Roland Weldon, Alabama Technology in Motion Specialist, Troy University, Troy, AL
